Last updated · 2026-05-13
§ 01
Service
TrackLayer provides hosted server-side tracking, event routing, data quality, identity handling, diagnostics, dashboards, APIs, and related support. We may update the service to improve reliability, security, performance, and platform compatibility.
§ 02
Accounts
You must provide accurate account and billing information, protect credentials, and ensure that each user has authority to access the workspace. You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys.
§ 03
Customer data
You retain ownership of customer data and grant TrackLayer the rights needed to host, process, transform, transmit, and secure that data to provide the service. You are responsible for lawful collection, notices, consent, destination configuration, and end-user rights handling.
§ 04
Acceptable use
You may not use TrackLayer for unlawful data collection, fake or fraudulent conversion traffic, credential abuse, security probing, spam, malware, or processing data that you are not authorized to process.
§ 05
Billing
Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Usage limits, overages, trials, taxes, refunds, and invoice terms are described in the applicable order, pricing page, or subscription checkout.
§ 06
Availability and changes
We target reliable production service and publish operational status where practical. Beta, preview, and experimental features may change or be discontinued. We may suspend access to protect the service, customers, or third parties.
§ 07
Confidentiality and security
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other party. TrackLayer maintains administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk of the service.
§ 08
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the 12 months before the claim, except where law does not permit that limitation.
§ 09
Governing law
Unless a signed order states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable to the TrackLayer contracting entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
