Solutions Engineer (Customer Data)

About the role

Solutions engineering at TrackLayer turns complex data requirements into working implementations. You will support technical evaluations, design customer architectures, and feed product insight back into the roadmap.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery for sources, destinations, identity, consent, and warehouses.
• Build demos, proof-of-concepts, and implementation plans for customer teams.
• Partner with sales on technical validation and post-sale handoff.
• Translate repeated customer needs into product and documentation improvements.

What we're looking for

• Experience in solutions engineering, implementation, customer engineering, or technical consulting.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, event data, warehouses, and integration architecture.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to mixed audiences.
• Comfortable writing scripts, SQL, docs, and implementation guides.

Bonus points

• Experience with Segment, RudderStack, Hightouch, Census, or ad platform APIs.
• Background supporting enterprise security and privacy reviews.

Compensation

• Base: $150k-$210k
• Equity: 0.03%-0.12%
