People Operations Lead
About the role
You will build the operating foundation for hiring, onboarding, compensation, performance, and employee experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who can create structure without adding unnecessary process.
What you'll do
- Own hiring operations, candidate experience, and onboarding systems.
- Build people programs for feedback, leveling, compensation, and manager support.
- Partner with founders and finance on headcount planning and policy.
- Create lightweight practices that support inclusion, clarity, and sustainable pace.
What we're looking for
- People operations experience in a fast-growing startup or technical organization.
- Strong judgment around compensation, compliance, employee relations, and process design.
- Excellent written communication and trusted cross-functional partnership.
- Comfort balancing urgency with durable people practices.
Bonus points
- Experience supporting distributed US/EU teams.
- Background building early recruiting operations or manager enablement programs.
Compensation
- Base: $140k-$190k
- Equity: 0.03%-0.12%
